The Changing Brain: An Insider’s Look (2015)

How is your teenage brain different from an adult’s?  Come find out and explore the amazing human brain! Learn from Harvard researcher Dr. Leah Somerville how the brain changes throughout the teenage years. Discover the truth behind many common myths. Get a behind the scenes look at how our MRI takes pictures of the brain-in-action. Compare the brains of different species by holding real specimens in your hands. All activities are designed to be a fun and interactive experience for families with children aged 8-13 to learn together.

Fees:  $10 members/$20 nonmembers, per person including admission to the museum.  Participants are encouraged to come early or stay late and explore the museum before or after class.  These programs are not appropriate for children under 8 years of age.  Advanced registration required. Families must register at least one adult and one child for this program.
