Summer Science Week: Creative Animal Art – Islands (2015)

Date:

Mon - Fri, Jul 13 to Jul 17, 9:30am - 12:00pm

Location:

Harvard Museum of Natural History, 26 Oxford Street

For children entering grades 4-7

Examine animals specific to islands, and use them to spark your creativity. Madagascan aye-ayes, large lizards, or tropical birds could inspire a papier-mâché animal mask. Observing iridescent beetles and ancient fossils might suggest wearable art shapes.

Monday–Friday, July 13-17, 9:30 am to 12:00 pm

Fee: $150 members/$170 non-members.
