Journey with your family into the world of the microscopic with Harvard researcher Scott Chimileski and museum educator Wendy Derjue-Holzer. Learn about early microscopes on display in the Collection of Historical Scientific Instruments, try out modern microscopes, build simple microscopes, and use a macro lens to capture images with your smartphone.

All activities are designed to be a fun and interactive experience for elementary age students and their families to participate in together.
 
Fees:  $10 members/$20 nonmembers, per person. Price includes admission to the museum. Participants are encouraged to come early or stay late and explore the museum before or after class. These programs are not appropriate for children under 5 years of age. Families must register at least one adult and one child for this program.
