Diverse group learning about fossils.

We continue to monitor the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and prioritize the safety of our visitors, staff, students and volunteers. In the interests of reducing the number of people on campus and slowing the opportunity for transmission, the university museums are closing to the public, at the end of business on Thursday, March 12 until further notice. All public programs, classes, and events have been canceled. Over the next few weeks we will be assessing the situation and reviewing options for when we will be able to re-open to the public.

Special Event

Come see the world through the eyes of a scientist and explore what research reveals about life on our planet. Graduate students from the Harvard departments of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology, Human Evolutionary Biology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, and Earth and Planetary Sciences will share their research with hands-on activities in the galleries of the Harvard Museum of Natural History. All activities will be designed to actively engage families in learning more about science and exciting new discoveries about the natural world we live in.

Regular museum admission rates apply.
