Summer Science Week: Tools of a Scientist

For children entering grades 6-8

Monday, August 1st through Friday, August 5th; 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Spend a week as a scientist! Using microscopes, field guides, and DNA you isolate yourself, you will identify and compare organisms collected around the museum with those from your neighborhood. You will keep a detailed scientific notebook, conduct experiments, practice scientific drawing, and collect and analyze data. Build your skill set so you will always have the tools of a scientist at your fingertips.

The health and safety of visitors and staff is our top priority. All students are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to participate in Summer Science Week programs. Please contact us if your child requires an accommodation to participate. Masks are required to be worn in all Harvard buildings. These policies are subject to change as guidance from the University changes.

Fee: $180 members/$200 non-members.
